Science Olympiad Team

Andrew L. is a rising 10th grader at Harker in Silicon Valley. He has participated in the Science Olympiad club since 7th grade. His favorite events were Anatomy & Physiology, Dynamic Planet, Meteorology, and Water Quality. He has won multiple medals in Regional and State level competitions. He has a passion for learning science and enjoys helping others. Andrew specializes in Earth Science and he hopes to see you in the program soon!

Caroline is a rising 8th grader at Basis Independent Silicon Valley. She participated in Science Olympiad in 7th grade. Her events were Rocks and Minerals, Disease Detectives, and Sounds of Music.

Jason N. is a rising 10th grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. He participated in Science Olympiad in the 8th grade. He took the events Meteorology, Storm the Castle, and Write It Do It. 

Nelson N. is a rising 10th grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. He participated in Science Olympiad in the 8th grade. His events were Meteorology, Storm the Castle, and Write it Do It with Jason as his partner.

Samuel L. is a rising 10th grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. He has been in the Science Olympiad club since 7th grade, and he is the Division B president in 2021-2022. His events this past year were Meteorology, Solar System, Mission Possible, and Ping Pong Parachute. Samuel has won many medals for his events in State and Invitational Competition. He enjoys learning about our world's science, and he hopes to see you in the program soon.

Xiangtuo is a rising 9th grader at Basis Independent Silicon Valley. He joined the Science Olympiad Division B team in his 7th grade year, and still participates in it as the physical science & chemistry officer. He does 3 events, namely Food Science, Crime Busters, and Code Busters, and have gotten many medals. Science Olympiad gave him a great opportunity to learn about various advanced scientific topics, and he hopes to share this opportunity with others through this camp.

Yifan is a rising 10th grader at BASIS Independent Silicon Valley. He has done Science Olympiad for 4 years. He has done a lot of different events and taken medals in State and Invitational Competition. He hopes to share the experience of Science Olympiad with you.
